Kim Wiencken works closely with some of Europe's leading venture capitalist companies, assisting them in developing selected portfolio companies. He is focusing on driving radical growth, performance improvements and strategic redirection.
Kim entered the ICT industry in 1997, when he joined Oracle Denmark as a senior executive responsible for the service operation. In SAP Nordic he was vice-president/COO and the architect and driver behind a successful transformation. He later moved to SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, where he was responsible for driving a transformation program within the entire development organization of SAP.
Before entering the ICT industry Kim spent 12 years in management consulting. As senior partner and CEO in SMG Consulting Group, Kim was responsible for the subsidiary in Denmark. He also had global responsibility for SMG Business Transformation Practice. Kim also spent seven years with Deloitte Consulting, where he was responsible for a competence area called performance improvement.
Kim is an external examiner at Copenhagen Business School for M.Sc. candidates in, for example, Management of Technology, and Strategy and Management. He has published a number of articles and in 2005 participated in writing a book about leadership.
Kim obtained his economic degree at Copenhagen Business School and managerial education at INSEAD.
