Kim Warren

Education: London University, Imperial College - (1974) BSc, Chemical Engineering. LBS - (1978) MBA (Distinction), (1996) PhD.

Experience: Kim Warren is Teaching Fellow of Strategic Management at London Business School.  His work captures the interdependencies between the resources and capabilities of any enterprise, leading to fact-based architectures that can both explain performance through time, and be redesigned for radical improvement.

He is the author of ‘Strategic Management Dynamics' Wiley: 2008. Kim is also author of several simulation-based learning materials, covering sectors such as brand management, professional services, retailing and airlines, designed to communicate a rigorous, fact-based approach to Strategy.  

Before joining London Business School, he held strategy positions in the petrochemicals and brewing industries, and was Retail Strategy Director for Whitbread PLC. He continues to advise on strategy implementation for numerous companies, including Schneider Electric, Barclays Bank, PWC and Qinetiq.
