James Teboul focuses on supply chain management, quality management and management of services.

A graduate engineer of Ecole Centrale de Paris and Doctor dès Science from Paris University, James started his career as a group leader responsible for new product development at Schlumberger. He earned an MBA at Sherbrooke University in Canada and became a professor at INSEAD in 1971. James has taught in many executive programs in several countries and has been a consultant to industrial and service organizations. He now teaches operations management in industry and services.

His main areas of research are supply chain management, quality management and management of services.

James is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Service Industry Management. His book “La Dynamique Qualité” (Editions d'Organisation) is published in English under the title “Managing Quality Dynamics” (Prentice Hall).  He is currently preparing the English version of a book entitled “The Age of Services”, published in French as “Le Temps des Services” (Editions d'Organisation).
