The widest definition of the service sector includes all industries except those in the goods-producing sector. With this definition, services include transportation, communication, public utilities, wholesale and retail trade, finance, insurance, real estate, other personal and business services, and government.

Although the service sector represents the lion’s share of the economy and contains a very broad range of industries, the fundamental challenges revolve around delivering an in demand service to a customer in an efficient and profitable manner. Unfortunately, this is often easier said than done.

Additionally, SIMI has honed its teaching methods by almost 20 years of continuously improving the processes, which combine interactive classroom lecturers, real-life projects, extensive group work and executive industry advisors.
