The MITS program consists of five modules:
Module 1: Developing Business Unit Strategy
Dates: 16 - 20 August 2010
This module provides participants with the conceptual and practical frameworks needed to analyze and understand the changing competitive landscape, and to develop business unit strategies.
Module 2: Designing Operating Strategies
Dates: 4 - 7 October 2010
Module 2 teaches concepts and management tools for designing sales and marketing, service-delivery and innovation strategies that further articulate the business unit strategy developed in module 1.
Module 3: Implementing Strategy
Dates: 22 - 26 November 2010
Module 3 equips participants with management tools for building the skills and the will needed to implement the strategy.
Module 4: Consolidating Learning on Home-Company Strategy and Industry Issues
Dates: 8 - 10 February 2011
This module contains an interactive exam presentation to prepare for home company strategy implementation, and two days to develop and share knowledge on key industry issues.
Module 5: Improving Implementation
Date: 6 February 2012
This one-day follow-up module enables participants to learn from successes and failures of implementation at the home company.
