SIMI - A Networked Organization

Company network
Since its founding as a non-profit institute in 1991, SIMI has developed an extensive network with the Danish and international business community within the industry universes we serve. Line and HR top managers from key companies constitute Steering Boards that oversee the activities of the actual industry universe. Senior managers act as executive advisors and mentors to diploma program and E*MBA participants.

Companies also collaborate with SIMI as hosts for business projects in overseas markets, and participate in home company projects on, among others, business unit strategy, innovation, organizational change, and supply chain.

Alumni network
The SIMI Alumni Association, SAA, oversees the active alumni network, which is open not only to the E*MBA but also to the diploma program alumni. Today, the network consists of more than 2,500 graduates in 24 countries and holds regular events at SIMI and elsewhere.

Faculty network
Over the years, SIMI has worked closely with 40 - 50 top-flight guest faculty from leading Asian, European, and North American business schools. The faculty is recruited based on their industry knowledge and insight and their proven ability to frame an intensive learning process with experienced executives. Their involvement in a specific program is coordinated by the SIMI Program Director.
