At SIMI we have found that lasting learning with the aim of creating impact in the organization requires a combination of experiential learning, real-life assignments, feedback on personal leadership, and participants' ability to reflect and report on their own learning process.
SIMI’s challenge is to set up a framework and mechanisms that force these elements to develop together and reinforce each other. We demand that participants apply newly gained insights, try out ideas, and learn from the feedback they get and the results they create. Participants are also encouraged to achieve results through a process that mirrors their personal strengths and weaknesses. The idea is to give them insight into how to compensate for a weakness or make the most of a competence by involving others. At SIMI, we do this through real-life individual assignments, and team-based projects in multi-company or home company teams. Throughout the programs, experienced faculty, business executives, and business psychologists are on hand for individual and team feedback.
