Paul Matthyssen’s focus is on value innovation, internationalization, key success factors in purchasing, business markets and in industrial services.
He is a professor of competitive strategy and strategy implementation and control at the Department of Management, Antwerp University, Belgium, and part-time professor of business-to business marketing at the department of marketing management, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Paul is also guest professor at diverse management schools in Sweden, The Netherlands, the US, Denmark and Belgium and has given guest lectures at the Universities of Foggia, Firenze, Camerino, Siena and Arezzo in Italy, at the University of Bratislava, Budapest, and at New Mexico State University.
Paul holds a Ph.D. from Antwerp University; an MBA from Leuven University and an MA in Marketing Management from Gent University.
